Hello,
I have a question about new chart product.

Will I have access to new Lido charts from May if I buy charts year subscription now? Or I should wait till May?
Best regards,

Yes you will have access to the new charts in May if you purchase now. We will simply replace the current coverage with the new Lido coverage/format in May, but you will have access to charts 365 days from purchase regardless of start date.

Stephen

Marius,

No, early May, likely first half. But no fixed date.

That is soon enough. (And please remember the iPad previews, I can barely wait for that in particular... :D)

Cheers!

Good morning,

I have been a user (RW) of Jeppesen for decades and now retired I am still using them for the sim. I, of course, know about Lido but never used them. Could you be good enough to let me know if the Lido coverage is as comprehensive as the Jepp?

Regards,

JP

JP (what is your name please?),

Not sure what the Jepp charts coverage looks like. We will provide more details into the new Lido/RouteManual coverage in the coming days, but here is a map for an initial overview. We will cover 1838 major airports in 198 countries worldwide.

Diogo,

Further to your question in April regarding chart provider - there has been some new decisions since our initial announcement. We will not keep the current Navtech coverage, but completely replace it with the new Lido/RouteManual coverage. Hence there will only be Lido/RouteManual charts in the future, so there is no need to indicate the source provider for an airport. More about this in a separate sticky: viewtopic.php?f=54&t=2290

Stephen
