Vernon,

It's the same subscription! When you purchase the charts subscription or the upcoming "ultimate" (FMS+Charts) subscription you get access to all interfaces - Cloud, Desktop and the upcoming iOS app.

Vernon,

Yes, you can access our charts in any interface you like. If you prefer the Desktop version, use it. If you prefer the Cloud version, use it. Even at the same time if you want. Both connect to your account to check if you have a subscription or not - if you do, access to all charts will be granted.

Regards,

Stephen

One other thing, with this new upgrade coming soon will i need to pay any extra? And will there still be charts desktop available to print off charts?

Vernon,

You will be able to continue to use the Charts Subscription even after the new products are released. You will get full access to the new Lido/RouteManual charts, in both the Desktop and Cloud, and also in the upcoming iPad app. There will be no extra cost.

You may opt to upgrade to the FMS+Charts bundle package if you want, if you don't have any FMS Data subscription. If you do, your remaining Charts subscription will be credited toward the upgrade.

Regards,

Stephen

Charts cloud and charts desktop, which one uses more RAM and system resources?
And, does charts cloud have print function?
Thank you.

tienint (your name?),

Regarding RAM and system resources - I would guess Desktop but it depends on your system and browser. You should try it for yourself, both apps have a demo function if you are not yet a subscriber, which are representative of resource usage.
