LTBA RNAV Error for 35R in AIRAC Cycle 1702

Postby watauga » Wed Jun 21, 2017 2:57 am

I have AIRAC cycle 1702 through my purchase of the Eclipse 550 NG. While flying from LTAC to LTBA I was directed to land on rwy 35R. I chose to use the RNAV final for this landing. This choice guided the plane to land on rwy 17L. Below is the RNAV for rwy35R routing from the Proc folder. The VURAL from charts I have seen appears to be for RNAV 17L. Per the RNAV routing for rwy 35L and 35R below both appear to have headings of 174 for the approach. This same issue may also be occurring at RNAV rwy 23. See below. I have provided the final for RNAV 17L at the bottom. It appears to be the same as the final for RNAV 35R. Have these final approached been corrected in cycle 1706? If so, will you send me the corrections for LTBA?

Thanks for your help.

Hi Ron,
I have looked deeper into it and this procedures (which is not really a RNAV procedure - and that´s really an issue) is a Circle-To-Land procedure (CVDM), which is the VORTAC procedure into LTBA. As you possible know, a CTL procedure has no runway-identifier, and second no addon can handle such procedures without a runway-ident. So, the "workaround" is to duplicate such procedures to all runways - therefore the double entries on all possible runways. What is wrong, and that´s correct it´s not a RNAV procedure it´s a VORTAC procedure - I will fix it and you can expect this change with the next release.
Thanks for the report Ron!
Kind regards,
Richard
