Does Navigraph effect the functionality of base planes?

Postby ApesUpt » Thu Jul 27, 2017 7:42 pm

Hi, I want to use vasFMC on my default planes for FSX, and it tells me I need to get the updated navdata from here. So, in buying this navdata, will it update the navigation in my planes so I can use vasFMC? All i need is a FMC for my default planes and it requires an updated AIRAC. The product page for navigraph talks about how "46 addons are supported", which is cool, but it says NOTHING about the default planes. So are they supported

Hi...(Please sign posts with your real name)

Welcome.

As I understand it, VASFMC is a freeware FMC add-on for FSX default aircraft.

The Navigraph vasFMC Flight Management FMS Data updates the data in vasFMC, it doesn't alter the default FSX Aircraft. So when you access the VASFMC you should see updated AIRAC data.

Cheers
